Mind Trap – original poem written end of 2007

Clawing my skin,
Climbing the walls,
Insatiable aching between my thighs...
My mind races

Hold on to a thought?
Maybe for a minute,
Not much more

Paranoia sets in,
As my life hangs on the brink,
Understanding withheld,
For I must remain silent

If they knew the pain I suffer,
Would they care?,
Would it make a difference?
Would it help?
Opinion says no...

So I remain silent,
Pop some pills,
And pretend I'm like you

Sometimes helps,
Sometimes not,
Sometimes it may be too late

My life crumbles once again,
Down,
Down,
Down the hole,
Having to start all over again,
I really don't want to

And I go mad...

Clawing my skin,
Climbing the walls,

It captured me,
I am forever trapped,
No end, no end,
As life moves on...

Well I’m down on my knees again
And I pray to the only one
Who has the strength
To bear the pain
To forgive all the things that I’ve done
